More about the project: HTS Drostdy is a technical high school located within the Cape Winelands District, in the Western Cape, South Africa. A solar plus battery storage initiative that will pave the way for sustainable energy solutions in South Africa! This project is set to supply more than half of the school’s power needs. Designed with a carport PV structure, this innovative system will not only ensure essential backup energy but also significantly mitigate the impact of load shedding on the teaching and learning environment.
